This work evolved after exploring rock faces affected by an enormous storm off the coast of South East NSW. Water swirling for years had created amazing patterns, some craggy and others smooth, and within were holes never before exposed. I have tried to sculpt my own version of many such sightings over the years, but I feel we as humans can never reach the true essence of the natural world.
