This work was made to give different views from the various rooms that look onto the courtyard. Looking in the front door you can see through to the courtyard. Coming down the stairs from the bedrooms they see the single bird flying over the pond. In the dining room there is a single glass pear - "picked" from the tree. The combination of copper and glass gives a different effect at each time of day and mood of weather. This sculpture was designed to give a lifetime of joy.
