This sculpture and it's companion -
were made for the Eltham Wire- grass Gallery's wildlife exhibition "Passion to Protect" 2001. The helmeted honeyeater is Victoria's faunal/bird emblem and is a threatened species restricted to a small area in the Yellingbo forest. The sculpture is 22cm high.
