Hi All  Ive been working as a stone mason/sculptor in  the craft for just over 40 years .My formative years were spent building stone walls /houses around the state of victoria with over 30 years spent in the restoration of  the old buildings part of the craft.Finally its time to concentrate on sculpture 100%.Some of my sculptural work is on churches such as st Pats cathedral Melbourne ,st James in Brighton .In 2008 i was awarded a churchill fellowship to study ecclesiastical stone sculpture in the UK,Spain and france .The 2nd time that i had lived in the UK !.The first being for 2 years working on various buildings such as Winchester cathedral,Hereford  cathedral York minster and many others .Another passion related to the above is hunting out the old Quarrys ,of witch there are many scattered around Victoria such as the thompson river marble quarry witch entails a 4 wheel drive and a bit of walking to access 

My studio is located at Kallista in the Dandenong ranges were i share the space with another rock chopper ,( a stone tradgic as well.) .
