This piece is a demonstration of using an unlikely material to create the gentle feeling of flesh and flowers. The hand is my hand with all the texture and contours that make me. It started as an experiment in shaping steel plate but quickly transitioned into a realistic softness that took me by surprise. My eye is pleased and I hope your eyes and pleasantly surprised by its tenderness.
