This piece represents for me the creation of an imaginary star, still cradled within its fiery orange, 'gaseous' birthing chamber. It is well supported and adorned by celestial pointers. I invite viewers to look through and into the glass globe from different angles to experience a gentle, curious warping effect of the woven patterns.
