‘Celebration of Love’ is a figurative kinetic (wind-driven) sculpture created by Issa in 2020 from mild steel using both solid and perforated contrasting metal. This is part of Issa's 'Happy Life’ series animated by reflections on wisdom and love. In this case, Issa was reflecting on how two individual persons who are different in myriad ways come together to create and sustain love, celebrating and appreciating differences and finding a path to a shared vision and growth together as a couple. The element of turning and responding to the wind while remaining in love adds further depth to the idea of compromise and flexibility as a key to relationship success. This tall sculpture is not very wide and could be a feature in a courtyard or smaller garden. It is unique and is created primarily in mild steel and hand cut and welded prior to sealing for an outdoor garden placement.
