My work explores the 'random order' expressed throughout nature. I'm fascinated how forces such as wind or water can cut through stone over eons leaving curves, features and undulations that are both random yet rhythmical, free from constraint, yet perfectly ordered through their inevitability. 'Cyclical' attempts to capture this essence of movement and change over time. The circular motif becomes a reference to the cycles of time and seasons while the inclusions expressed in the limestone remind us of the imperfect beauty of natures design.
