Inspired by a huge gathering of flamingos whilst travelling to lac Nakuru, Kenya. On my journey of creating this sculpture, I found out there were none in Australia today, although quite common in the world. and did you know? Million years ago, the biggest colony of these birds was roaming around lake Eyres!
