As a stone sculptor my work usually represents a living image or element, mostly figurative but always something that is a juxtaposition to the qualities of stone, in this case marble. In this instance 'Fallen from Grace' a wing. fragile, soft,delicate and strong.... abstracted and textural, an Angel's wing, cast from the heavens or maybe adrift from its owner, or simply symbolic.
