My birds represent dreams and aspirations, something we keep clipped and caged too busy with day to day life to ever explore and set free. Inside my work are thousands of individual birds hand hammered and shaped to build a piece that represents someone pursuing there passion and dreams. With no faces and gaps in its structure i like that people interpret my works from there own point of view, each person seeing a different perspective built by there own emotions and experiences of setting there dreams free. Feathers on film has been a piece that worked perfectly with this, some people see him taking off his hat and unmasking what’s underneath his uniform, some people see stress and and some see his mind exploding with imagination.
