I am a multi-passionate creative and full time visual artist on our patch by the Rainbow Creek in central Gippsland. Inspired by my great love of nature, I have a restless curiosity and an eye for anatomical plausibility. I've been known to write, sing, dance, sculpt, draw, paint, experiment and ponder, and occasionally I get to swim with dragons in the Rainbow. “Fighting Roos” is an iconic scene in the Australian landscape, whether its joeys tussling in play or big males fighting in deadly earnest. Capturing that dynamic moment in unyielding metal was a wonderful challenge in observation, anatomy, creativity and fabrication.
