Ceramics and sculpture have always been a passion of mine. I started doing pottery in South Africa, which has had a large influence on my work. I love to stretch the boundaries of combining clay, wood and metal to create my sculptures. It is good therapy for mind and soul, giving me a great sense of achievement. The boundaries are endless. I have created “FLARE” to enhance the serenity of any outdoor / indoor area. This creation comes alive when it is illuminated by adding a candle or light inside the base of the sculpture.
