   Sculpture Description

Rusty metal elements have been used to create this sculpture called “Flight Circle”. A reflection of shapes and colours found in the Australian countryside, bent, burnt and twisted into these unique forms.

Estate Sculpture Special Mention MIFGS 2025

Flight Circle demonstrates a high level of skill and technique in its exploration of the Australian countryside. Through a masterful combination of colours, textures, and forms, the artist represents the character of the landscape while weaving a narrative rooted in cultural history. The careful selection of materials imbues the piece with a sense of place and time, inviting the viewer to engage not only with the art itself but also with the environment in which it resides, fostering a deeper connection with both the work and its context.
