Working with clay I am naturally drawn to the process of geological structure, the balance of form and colour in nature and the transformation of raw materials under high temperatures during the process of firing. My interest lies in the gems and galaxies of crystalline glazes, textures of lava flows, effects of erosion and colours of the landscape both earthly and galactic
