My work 'Helix' is a homage to the origin of life and evolution. I have used the gene sequencing code colours and a spiralling form that is based on the Double Helix as the core of my sculpture. Various other elements of life have been incorporated into this work which offers a reverential and positive hope for the future despite the environmental crisis that we are currently experiencing.
