This is from a body of work which tells a story informed by glimpses into a woman’s life. From childhood to adulthood, challenges have been faced and negotiated. Since the end of WW2 there have been extraordinary changes in a woman’s life. Women have raised their voices, embraced change and moved on from the kitchen into the highest offices of government, business and research. The consequences are that the building blocks of a woman’s life born in the 21st century are different from those born in the “baby boomer” years. Whilst there is a narrative imbedded in this body of work, each piece tells it’s own story and has a universal connection.
