This work was inspired by a beautiful moonrise seen from the beach at Indented Head, near St. Leonard's on the Bellarine Peninsula, last September. The copper allows the sea and clouds to be coloured black and the brass illustrates the Moon and the moonshine. The work is viewable from both sides. The base echoes the silhouette of rocks in the foreground.
