I am a “Hobby Potter”, my interest in pottery began about 30 years. I love the creative process and the moulding and shaping of clay is both challenging and rewarding. I particularly enjoy sculpting the human form and have created life size sculptures as well as many small works. Each piece is different and takes on its own character. I have exhibited my work in several local exhibitions, as well as the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show and was fortunate enough to be awarded a High Distinction and First Prize in that show some years years ago. I have also been awarded other highly commended awards in local exhibitions.
