This piece creates the tension of balance through delicately placed solid forms, balanced on top of one another in a seemingly precarious fashion. The chain links in one of the forms plays with the idea of the material as a solid form. The wire that keeps the chain elevated is counterbalanced by the weight on the other side adding to the tension of the piece.
