This piece has multiple meaning for me. Eternal flame has a strong sense of duty for me as a long serving, now retired defence member from a long line of serving ancestors. In addition, the love that I feel burns an eternal flame within me, that can never be extinguished. I welcome people to explore this piece with their hands, especially vision impaired, where my hope is that they may experience the shape of flames.
