   Sculpture Description

There is an essential give and take, push and pull between two forces that seem to have equal power.  These complementary forces are interacting to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the parts. Problems only arise when the whole is broken down into parts. Knowing how to bring the two contraries into harmony and equilibrium, yet maintaining them as complementary forces is a guiding principle of human development.
