My parents retired to the country many years ago. While watching the animals I found cattle, horses, sheep and especially goats are endlessly entertaining. Visually, the angular shapes of cattle are so opposite to the rounded soft shapes of horses that I was inspired to convey this 'angularity' into Whoops-a -Daisy. Mum and Dad never owned a dairy cow so Daisy is a figment of my imagination.

A wonderful comical movement at play on what we know is not achievable. Balanced and poised so expertly, with beautiful skilled rendering in materials used. When we all laughed we unanimously understood that the work we had chosen fit the context of ‘fun, quirky and making us smile’. Look out for the googly eyes!
