Geocentric

Geocentric is a sculptural exploration of the delicate balance between nature and industry. Constructed from welded metal bars, the piece is composed of interlocking cubes that form a complex and dynamic structure, evoking the weathered remnants of an ancient, fire-scarred tree trunk. The work seeks to juxtapose organic growth with industrial precision, blurring the line between natural forms and human-made elements. The arrangement of the cubes suggests a tension between chaos and control, as if the rigid, geometric shapes are mimicking the unpredictable, organic patterns found in nature. Through this interplay, Geocentric reflects on the interdependence of human ingenuity and the natural world, raising questions about how we shape—and are shaped by—the environments we inhabit.
