How to Train your Human

During Covid lockdowns it became screamingly obvious how important our pets are to our physical and mental well being. We all believe that we "train" our pets to behave in certain ways but in fact, it is the opposite that is more accurate. Our pets teach us all sorts of life lessons and behaviours. They understand more about human emotions than we often give them credit for. They are adept at manipulating us to make sure we understand their comfort and needs and our lives are better for it. Jenny Reddin seeks to portray snapshots of life in metal silhouettes that she paints to describe attitude, personality and expression. She is inspired by everyday experience and the power of body language.
