I have wild eagles that live on my property and I enjoy watching them raise their young chicks. In 2019 we named the chick Edward. This sculpture captures the moment where Edward the Eagle is leaping off the tree stump to venture out into wild to find his own life partner. The sculpture is made from thousands of reclaimed eucalyptus wood shards and fragments that are glued and nailed together using exterior grade products.
