‘Love your Shadow’ is a figurative sculpture created by Issa in 2020 from mild steel and incorporating a cast bronze head from Issa's natal Ivory Coast in West Africa. This is part of Issa's 'Happy Life’ series animated by reflections on wisdom and love. In this case, Issa was reflecting on the importance of self-acceptance and self-love, warts and all, as part of being or becoming a person capable in turn of generous love to others.
