I love the silver princess with it's silver branches and foliage and colourful flowers. I have been unsuccessful in growing one in our garden in the Yarra Valley so I decided to make one that will withstand all weather conditions. I use local hardwood for the trunk supported by a steel outer frame that splits up into the branches. I have forged the leaves on the blacksmith anvil and bending them to form the weeping growth habit. The flowers are made from wire cup brushes.
