I was born in Melbourne and live in Red Hill with my husband and three sons. After completing a BA majoring in sculpture at Monash University in 1998. I worked in bronze for a few years before moving to wire. I was drawn to the immediacy and infinite possibilities to portray movement with the medium. My works are best described as whimsical snapshots of life which are intended to evoke memories and emotion. Made to look old to create a sense of timelessness and nostalgia. Dogs and the female form as well as water, movement feature heavily. My work focuses on moments of joy and my inspiration comes from everyday life..
