The pose for 'Reverie' was chosen as a marquette for a limestone carving, but I liked it so much I created it in bronze. my daughter is generally my muse. I have been modelling the human form since quite young. My teachers in year 7 would not believe I had made in plasticine a model of a kneeling angel about 8' high. When study and work took over my life, artwork was shelved until I was in my 30's when I left nursing, and did a diploma of art at Prahran tech., majoring in sculpture. My favourite subject was Figuritive image, as I love modelling the human form. I hope you like 'Reverie'.
