Pattie Beerens. I create living, on-going collaborative engagements with the world as art to explore relations of kinship with the materials of the world – including the human. Made with white clays respectfully collected from a mine site on Wadawurrung Country and branches gathered on morning walks, 'in, from and with' is the trace of four hands listening, wondering, nurturing, and weaving. “On one side I experienced self-doubt, angst and fear. I could see the ribbon was tight, taught and angular.
