This hand built sculpture is an attempt at introducing a more eco friendly practise to my art where I can. The clay body is a cocktail of discarded clay from a small production studio, the glazes are re hydrated, unwanted trailings in containers that were found in a hard rubbish collection and the piece was fired to a low range earthenware firing temperature. This piece is hollow, inviting the viewer to feel like there is a sense of home and play.
