Description
As I carved this ancient piece of Huon Pine I reflected on inner strength. It seemed for me to arise out of the ability to respond flexibly to adversity, like reeds in a flood. What emerged out of these contemplations was a freestanding sculpture expressing fluidity, balance and grace.
