I am drawn primarily to working with limestone and marble and pursued study sculpting in Carrara, Italy. My love of music also inspires my work. This piece portrays a partly visible male torso. A harp shape protrudes from its side. A song by singer/composer Kevin Prosch, "There’s a Harp in my Heart” has been a source of inspiration to me over the years and was significant as I worked on this piece. Healing emerges like a melody in the hands of the creator. I hope this work speaks in many ways.
