Radiolaria 2 is the second piece in the series I am creating called 'Steel Life'. It is an attempt to transform something that has been taken from nature and humanised back into an organic form, total superfluous to the human world other than as an object of complex and intricate beauty. I am attempting to highlight that it seems to be the prevailing view that unless an object has some practical use, it does indeed become superfluous.
