I used the alginate moulding system to capture the bugs outer shield like shell and its intricate underbelly of tentacles and respiratory system. I loved on sight Its vivid red crustacean shell, the delicacy and beauty of its body and ethereal presence on a grey Stkilda Day. Its other worldliness, delicate beauty and very existence is so gratifying and a joyous discovery in my challenged and damaged urban environment.
