Emerso represents the contrast of hard marble with soft curvaceous folds. My mosaics are notable for their tactile nature and for the gentle placement of natural earthy colours to create an image.  I create work though a meticulous labour-intensive processes which includes cutting each piece of marble by hand, with the use of a hammer and hardie.
